This page is the external account-deletion resource for the ThisOrThat mobile app.
Fastest option: delete in the app
Open ThisOrThat → Profile & settings → Privacy & data → Delete account & data. Guest users will see Delete my guest data.
The app removes the current Firebase identity/account, individual vote records, saved-pick history and locally stored optional demographic data. Vote totals are adjusted so those votes no longer contribute to the community counts.
Request deletion without the app
If you cannot access the app, email us from the address used for your registered ThisOrThat account. Use the subject ThisOrThat Account Deletion Request.
For security, we may ask you to confirm ownership of the registered email address before processing the request. Never send your password.
What is deleted
- Your Firebase Authentication account for ThisOrThat.
- Your individual dilemma vote documents.
- Your saved-pick/history documents.
- Optional gender and age-range values linked to those vote documents.
- Associated local personal/demo data when deletion is performed in the app.
We aim to process verified email requests as soon as reasonably practicable and generally within 30 days.
What may remain
Service providers may retain limited security, fraud-prevention, diagnostic or backup records where required by their policies or applicable law. Data that can no longer reasonably be linked to your account may also exist in aggregated operational statistics.

אנו שואפים לטפל בבקשות אימייל מאומתות בהקדם הסביר ובדרך כלל בתוך 30 ימים.
מה עשוי להישאר
ספקי שירות עשויים לשמור רשומות מוגבלות לצורכי אבטחה, מניעת הונאות, אבחון או גיבוי כאשר הדבר נדרש לפי המדיניות שלהם או הדין החל. מידע שלא ניתן עוד לקשר באופן סביר לחשבון עשוי להישאר גם בסטטיסטיקות תפעוליות מצטברות.
